Jonas Brothers Debut Upbeat Soft Rock Anthem ‘I Can’t Lose’ Ahead of Seventh Studio Album

Written by Jonas Brothers, Mikky Ekko, Paris Carney and Ryan Daly, and produced by the latter, I Can’t Lose is a big shimmering pop number with an upbeat eighties hookiness. The single is another taste of the group’s upcoming studio album Greetings From Your Hometown scheduled for release next month.

The Brothers have been channelling up-tempo soft-rock anthems for the upcoming set, with I Can’t Lose being preceded by BeeGees sampling No Time To Talk. The number pairs the vocals of Nick and Joe against bubbling upbeat production, as both croon: “I can’t lose when I’m with you/ Oh-oh, you give me everything, everything that I need, everything that I need to keep smiling through-ooh-ooh/ I can’t lose when I’m with you/ Oh-oh, made out of magic and I gotta have it, I made it a habit to keep smiling through-ooh-ooh,”

The band share “We debuted ‘I Can’t Lose’ – a song about love, strength, and showing up for the people you love. Dedicated to all of those who Stand Up To Cancer. Teaming up with Mastercard to uplift fans who’ve found hope and healing in our music means so much to us. ‘I Can’t Lose’ is a song we hope can carry different meanings for everyone who hears it and, for those who need it, a reminder of their own strength.”

Greetings From Your Hometown will contain fourteen tracks – with the full tracklist set to be revealed – arriving on August 8th. The album marks twenty years since the group debuted and will be supported by the JONAS20: Greetings From Your Hometown Tour.
