Jack Kane Bites Back with New Single ‘Wisdom Tooth’ Ahead of Forthcoming ‘Obvious’ EP

Hertfordshire star Jack Kane releases his latest single Wisdom Tooth – a track that highlights his distinctively original songwriting style and impressive knack for crafting irresistible pop hooks.

Brimming with jangling guitar, crisp percussion, and a swelling chorus, the single is set to open Jack’s upcoming EP, which will also feature his previous releases Loving You (Is a Drag) and Breaking Up at the Department Store. Both tracks showcase his ability to transform everyday experiences into undeniable pop anthems, delivered with a witty, self-aware lyricism.

Jack shares:“Wisdom Tooth may be the most unique metaphor I’ve committed to in a song so far. I compare lust and infatuation to that strange, lingering ache of wisdom tooth pain. It’s impossible to ignore, it doesn’t feel like it should be there, but you can’t stop prodding at it. This song tackles feelings of desire in a playful form.”

The rising star is preparing to release his new EP Obvious, due 24th October via MADE Music. Across the five-track set, Jack collaborates with a range of talents including Mark Elliot, BLUEGIRL, Toni Howard, Odd Martin, Hoost, and Ed Denholm.

With an eye on longevity, Jack explains: “I’m tired of seeing everything boiled down to instant gratification. I only want to release songs that will still mean something to me 10 years from now.”
