We still hold a special place in our hearts for the brilliant Dora 2025 anthem Monopol, a number which deserved to win the Croatian national final and travel to Basel for Eurovision. Whilst its singer IVXN is sadly not taking part in Dora 2026, he is thankfully progressing with new music including the banger Atacama and a cinematic new acoustic version of Monopol.
Monopol was written by Ananda Đuranović, Andreas Björkman, Ivan Milić (IVXN) and Jonas Ekdahl, with production also from Björkman and co-producer Ekdahl. The number has an elegant and cinematic flavour, showcasing a striking emotion in IVXN’s vocals and the absorbing production of Björkman and Ekdahl. A real treat.
IVXN shares with followers: “We have been waiting for the right moment for this version for almost a year. The song first lived only with the piano, just as the first demo sounded, and then Andreas Björkman and Jonas Ekdahl turned the arrangement into something special. “
We are delighted to hear more from IVXN and have no doubt that his follow-up single to Monopol and Atacama will be an equally impressive treat.
