Interview: The Wanted 2.0 – Max George & Siva Kaneswaran On Touring, The Wanted’s Legacy & New Music

Max George and Siva Kaneswaran are spearheading an exciting new chapter in The Wanted’s legacy with The Wanted 2.0. Culture Fix’s Andrew caught up with Max and Siva to chat about their busy touring schedule, The Wanted’s success and legacy, and what’s coming next for the duo.

Max and Siva share the story of how The Wanted 2.0 emerged and how touring together has brought the pair closer. They discuss those early gigs as a duo and reworking the band’s biggest hits for two members, as well as taking The Wanted 2.0 across the globe to locations including India and South America.

We dig into the band’s incredible discography, with Max and Siva exploring some of the gems in The Wanted’s catalogue that they are particularly proud of. The pair also speak about the differences between touring in their thirties and the band’s early years in their twenties, as well as detailing the highs and lows of The Wanted’s full-on schedule during the early 2010s. We chat about some of the band’s many achievements, as well as dipping into the realities of releasing music as soloists after their initial years in The Wanted.
