It was our pleasure to catch up with the lovely ADONXS, who is currently celebrating the release of his new single Cherry On Your Cake. We spoke with the Czechia-based talent about the track, his plans for both an English and Slovak-language EP, and his experience of taking to the Eurovision Song Contest stage in Basel in 2025.
ADONXS delved into creating the track with Swedish production team Dana Burkhard, Edwin Lindberg and Lukas Hällgren, as well as embracing the breezy and flirty tone of the single. He also revealed that Cherry On Your Cake and Kiss Kiss Goodbye are both likely to feature on the upcoming releases. The star also took time to reflect on his debut solo album Age of ADONXS and whether any of its tracks will make it into future live sets.
Now more than a year on, ADONXS reflects on his Eurovision experience and how winning SuperStar in 2021 helped prepare him for the legendary Song Contest. He also discusses whether the door is open for a potential return in the future.
ADONXS also shares his experiences of life in London, the importance and visibility of Pride events, and some hidden gems to visit in Slovakia.
