British pop talent HRVY has been excelling with his recent singles Hesitate and Lie to Me, and continues to do so with his freshly released track Bed You Made. The three tracks are lifted from HRVY’s upcoming EP, Bliss, which arrives on 4 September.
Talking about the new track, HRVY shares: “I shall be giving birth to this little tune at midnight tonight (pls listen w headphones and or listen at night in the car whilst driving, or if no car then at night with mood lighting lol thank you).”
HRVY has been hard at work on new music, drawing inspiration from the world of Scandinavian pop and collaborating with co-writer and producer Robin Stjernberg on the new single.
The track taps into slightly heavier subject matter, capturing the breakdown of a one-sided relationship where the narrator rejects being made the villain, telling their ex to “lie in the bed you made”. HRVY sings “I don’t wanna sound arrogant / But giving all of me was no accident / I was willing to love you one hundred percent / But in the end, I’m the villain” in one of the verses.
