British pop favourite HRVY launches a new musical era with his new single lie to me, a track which arrives after numerous recording sessions in Sweden, where he has been working with co-writer and producer Hampus Lindvall. HRVY and Chelsea Balan also co-wrote the track, which taps into melancholic lyrics atop breezy, up-tempo production.
HRVY shared with fans: “lie to me is finally yours, feels so good to be releasing again and I can’t wait for this next chapter, more music on the way.” The Million Ways hitmaker has been teasing the track on social media for several weeks, with anticipation high for the single, which marks HRVY’s first release since his 2025 Ferris Pier collaboration Summer Nights in Tokyo.
lie to me is truly worth the wait, with HRVY delivering an impressive, emotive vocal and lyrics that explore the complex emotional dynamics of toxic relationships. The star croons, “Tell me, tell me, tell me what I wanna hear / Promise that you’re never gonna disappear / Oh, I know it’s over, made it crystal clear / But the truth is overrated / Lie to me, baby.” Lindvall’s production helps turn this into a summer-ready crowd-pleaser that well and truly welcomes HRVY back to the pop scene with a bang.
