Dare we say this is one of HRVY’s best tracks? The British pop talent returns with a brand new song titled Hesitate, a breezy gem that shimmers with summery, feel-good vibes. The track is lifted from HRVY’s upcoming EP, Bliss, which arrives on 4th September.
HRVY shares: “‘hesitate’ is about trusting your instincts and living in the moment instead of second guessing yourself. It’s a fun, feel-good song about embracing a connection and letting things happen naturally. That carefree energy became a big part of the inspiration behind ‘Bliss’ and the music I’ve been making recently.”
HRVY is drawing on Scandinavian pop influences in his recent music, with the delicious Scandipop production coming from the track’s co-writer, Robin Stjernberg. Robin has worked with some of the brightest names in European pop, including Felix Jaehn, Kygo and Dagny, not to mention delivering the Swedish Eurovision Song Contest 2013 banger You.
The star shared with fans on Instagram the story behind the song’s video: “Being independent means there’s no big fat lovely budget or label footing the bill, but I still believe music deserves visuals. I still believe songs deserve a little world around them, and I want to be the best artist I can be. I shot this music video at 2am in the fields and streets of Stockholm with an amazing little crew.”
The feel-good track arrives with a sense of confidence and cool, with HRVY setting expectations high for his upcoming EP.
