GERMAN POPGerman schlager icon Helene Fischer began the journey to her new studio album with powerhouse anthem Heute Nacht, and now reveals the next taste of the set with An meiner Seite (‘By My Side’) a track which she debuted at her live stadium shows earlier this year.
Performed alongside her husband Thomas as part of an acrobatic aerial routine, An meiner Seite is a big, synthesiser-heavy dance-pop anthem that is set to delight fans of the Deutschpop legend. The track is written by Jules Kalmbacher, Alex Christensen, Lukas Hilbert, Bonito Julio, Claudio Macalvo and Shaun Baker. It was produced by Jules Kalmbacher, Alex Christensen and Lukas Hilbert, who also handled the mix engineering across the project.
Release notes share: The fan videos alone, featuring her acrobatic performance of the new song in a silver outfit high above the stadium ceiling alongside her husband Thomas, garnered well over 20 million views. An meiner Seite perfects the interplay between Helene Fischer’s unique voice, driving synthesisers and beats. Fans can look forward to a dynamic pop-schlager sound with dance elements – a late-summer anthem full of shared memories from the grand stadium tour, guaranteed to be catchy and instantly memorable.
Helene’s upcoming album does not yet have an official release date or tracklist, but is currently available for early birds to pre-order.
