Heidi Montag releases her most emotional song to date in the poignant No Going Home. The number is slow-burning electronic pop track written by Aaron Blackmar, Alex Nobile and Cali Rodi. The song, inspired by Heidi’s loss of her home in the Los Angeles fires, is also produced by Blackmar.
The Hills star and musician shares: “Where do you go when there’s no going home?..Home is not just a structure, it’s a place you live and love. A sacred sanctuary from the world. A place of refuge, filled with memories and joy. Losing our home has truly been life changing. Not just for us, our friends and entire community.”
Heidi continues: “I am thankful for this song and a place to pour out a piece of my heart. I broke drown many times fighting the tears to be able to share the deepest part of soul…I also worked on a more positive uplifting collaborative song that will be coming out soon. I look forward to the official announcement. Thank to everyone who continues to support and love us. It’s a long road ahead. One day we will go home, wherever that will be.”
The number continues to showcase Heidi’s versatility as a pop star as well as her personal resilience by continuing to create music despite her difficult personal circumstances.
The track features on Superficial: Heidiwood Edition which arrives May 30. The set contains previous singles that featured on Heidi’s first Heidiwood collection as well as six new songs: White Flag, Animal, Explicit, I Wanna Be Your Girl, Last Call and No Going Home.
