Elegant eighties-flavoured synths soundtrack the new single from Haute & Freddy, their first taste of new music since dropping their debut album Big Disgrace earlier this year. With the influence of British synthpop greats such as Pet Shop Boys and The Human League, Touch Touch is another delectable pop treat from Michelle Buzz and Lance Shipp.
The regal pop duo shared with followers: “Touch Touch is out this Friday! Shall thee be partaking from carriage, dungeon, or unicycle? Or perhaps in a parlour or boudoir? No matter the location, we hope ’tis a splendid time!”
Full of joyous abandon, the track taps into themes of losing yourself in the party, with vocalist Michelle Buzz singing: “Touch touch / Give me some relief / From simply existing / It’s too much / When you’re next to me / Just simply existing.” The duo write and produce the track, releasing it through Atlantic Records.
