We’ve been big fans of Elevator Boys since their earliest music releases, and now the German social media sensations return with their latest single, California. The track is a bouncing, high-energy up-tempo that allows each of the stars to shine, while also delivering an addictive and unforgettable chorus.
Collaborating with Swedish hitmakers David Lindgren Zacharias, Sebastian Atas, Victor Sjöström, Viktor Broberg and US producer Michael Matosic, California is one of the group’s most immediate and accessible songs, with “chart-hit” written all over it.
California is accompanied by a slick new music video from director Erik Rojas that captures the summer fun of a trip to the glamour of the US West Coast. The group shared: “It’s not just about the sun, it’s about who we became in California… Music is our next chapter.”
The group, made up of Bene Schulz, Jacob Rott, Julien Brown, Luis Freitag and Tim Schaecker, have already found success with multi-million-streaming hits Ruin Me and Runaway, releasing their debut EP Scared to Love back in 2024. The group recently finished shooting their debut feature film for Amazon in Malta earlier this year.
Hopes are high for lots of new Elevator Boys music, with fingers crossed for a full album from the German pop heartthrobs in the near future.
