German duo Fast Boy caught our eye with the slick pop anthems Born Again and Loveless, not to mention their collaborations with big names including Becky Hill, Tiësto, and Robin Schulz. Now the producers, songwriters and vocalists return with new standalone single Nothing Lasts Forever.
The duo share: “We poured our hearts into this one. In a way it’s a bit of going back to our roots, just to brothers making music together, singing, playing guitar and piano jamming together. A simple song, but all our emotions combined.”
The duo made up of brothers, Lucas and Felix Hain continue: “In this fast, crazy and numbers driven world we so often forget to take a moment, to look around, to close our eyes and to take it all in. Because if we don’t it’s over in a heart beat. Nothing lasts forever. A reminder to ourselves to keep going but also to keep growing and evolving and always seek for new inspiration while we never forget where we came from.”
Lucas and Felix co-write with Boki, Hubertus Dahlem, Jaro Omar, and Michael Burek with Burek and Dahlem also co-producing with Fast Boy. Building with a mellow groove, an uplifting melody and message, and intoxicating echoing vocals, Nothing Lasts Forever is undeniably one of Fast Boy’s best tracks.
