Flo Chase

It was a pleasure to once again catch up with Flo Chase, a rising singer-songwriter with a sound that flows between smooth soulful pop and absorbing reggae sounds. Flo releases his new album Harvest of Rhythm this week, with the LP showcasing his rich storytelling, emotive vocals, and skilled musicality.

During our chat, Flo opened up about why Harvest of Rhythm feels like his most personal project to date, revealing how themes of freedom and self-discovery shaped the album’s warm, sun-soaked reggae sound. He also discussed the stories behind standout tracks including Egyptian Eyes, The Sound and Broken Man, along with the collaborative recording process that brought the record’s vibrant instrumentation to life with a variety of the album’s collaborators.

Flo also reflected on the careful sequencing of the record, explaining how each song naturally found its place to create a narrative within the listening experience. Flo shared how the project has marked an important chapter in both his musical and personal journey, and we can confirm it feels like his strongest project.

We also put Flo through our quickfire music round, where he shared the albums and artists that have inspired him, his dream collaboration and the songs that get him on the dancefloor.
