JJ continues to move forward with new music since his landmark Eurovision Song Contest win in May. The star followed his contest winning single Wasted Love with single Back to Forgetting, and now releases the stellar Haunting Me.
In the dramatic pop chorus, the Vienna-based star sings: “There’s tension, you were calling / Say you’re lonely, though I moved on / You’ve got questions and they haunt me, oh / Ain’t it funny? Now you need me / Knew you’d never make it easy to move on, ooh…” against synth-driven electronic production.
JJ co-writes the single with Israel Houghton II, Naila and Oli Som, with the composition of the track allowing his operatic vocals to shine atop slinky pop production from Two Planets. The track, and JJ’s expected debut album, are released via Warner Music Central Europe.
