Dutch indie-pop star Blanks returns with new single Knockout. Combining slinky guitar, intoxicating vocals and sing-along lyrics, Knockout is a grooving, moody pop gem.
Written by Simon de Wit (Blanks) alongside Rob Williford and Spencer Coats, the track follows Blanks’ 2026 single Buzzin’, an upbeat, danceable treat. As well as co-writing the song, Blanks also produces the track, giving it a cool swagger through its rich, multi-layered instrumentation and a subtle nod to the indie-pop sound of the early 2010s.
The infectious chorus sees the Dutch star sing: “Cause you’re in my head, on my mind / Tip of my tongue, and it tastes so nice / All right, all night, can’t see it comin’ / All right, all night, ain’t no outrunning / A knockout…” It’s another effortlessly catchy release from Blanks that further showcases his knack for crafting irresistible indie-pop hooks.
