Dance music legend Janice Robinson returns with a revamped version of Livin’ Joy’s 1994 hit Dreamer. The song showcases Janice’s powerhouse vocals over production from Dan Boots, bringing the track into 2026 while retaining its iconic melody and lyrical hooks.
Janice shares: “33 years ago, on a train in 1993, I wrote ‘Dreamer’ from a place of pure hope, never imagining it would travel the world. Today, with Armada Records, I return to that same song, not as the woman I was, but as the woman I’ve become.” She adds: “The truth is, you must live your truth, and you must protect your legacy.”
Janice also shared on Instagram: “I have dedicated my life to bringing joy to others through my music, my songs, and my lyrics. I am simply a messenger. Always have been, and always will be. This journey with Armada Records begins towards the end of May, and I want you to dream with me. Be open to receiving something exciting, fresh, and new.” She continues: “To the new generation, the older generations, and everyone in between, I hope when you hear ‘Dreamer’ 2026, you feel the love, the power, and the truth within yourself. Dream with me.”
Alongside the radio edit, which runs for 3:35, Dreamer also comes with a powerful extended mix clocking in at 5:30, providing even more euphoric dancefloor goodness.
