Culture Fix Presents Eurovision Heroes: Azerbaijan [Podcast]

Last week saw us tackle San Marino’s Eurovision legacy which ultimately led to us picking our favourites Achille Lauro and Senhit. It was a huge victory for Achille Lauro – in what is our biggest voter turnout yet – as the Italian rocker ran off with 89% of our total vote, beating Senhit’s 11%. Now we turn to the Land of Fire, Azerbaijan as we send Efendi and Chingiz into battle.

Delving through Azerbaijan’s history in the contest, we celebrate Aysel and Arash, Farid Mammadov, and Nadir Rustamli, highlighting their entries as our honourable mentions. However, it’s Cleopatra versus Truth in our final showdown.
