Corbyn Besson continues to impress with his solo material, the latest being a collaboration with K-Pop star Tzuyu on new track Blink. The release follows his 00s-inspired hit Tied Up and points to exciting things ahead on his forthcoming solo EP.
Sleek and flirtatious, Blink is a major moment for both Corbyn and Tzuyu as they establish themselves as solo artists after finding fame in groups – Corbyn in Why Don’t We and Tzuyu in TWICE. The pair worked together in Seoul on the video, which captures the playful, high-energy chemistry between them.
Corbyn shares: “BLINK is a groovy, high-energy duet about savouring the magic of the moment when you lay eyes on someone who takes over your whole world. It is like ‘love at first sight,’ but a little more playful.”
He adds: “Tzuyu was amazing to work with, and shooting a music video on the streets of Seoul was a first for both of us. The whole experience felt fresh and exciting. I cannot wait to see how fans react to the video.”
Corbyn’s debut solo EP will be released next year via BMG. Combining nostalgia with a forward-thinking edge, his recent singles Tied Up, No One Else (with dance duo Two Friends) and Summer showcase his versatility in blending R&B and pop.
