Rising Philadelphia singer-songwriter Colin Lynch is gearing up for the release of his Miracles Off Exit 17 EP on July 31 with new single Beach Fire Embers.
With emotive vocals and sparsely layered production drawing us in before bouncing guitars and harmonica take over, Beach Fire Embers is a commanding slice of US folk-pop. Colin’s lyrics conjure a sense of nostalgia, crafting a woozy, sun-stroked vision of America as he croons: “And we were young as ever / Beach fire embers / Burning on your back legs / Blowing toward the tide…” Colin writes the track alongside production from Brian Stanley.
Colin has found success with tracks including 4th of July Darlin’ and Aida’s Smile, showcasing a talent well beyond his years. His upcoming EP will feature Beach Fire Embers alongside a mix of previously released and new tracks. See the full tracklist below:
