Canada's Tyler Shaw Returns With 'The Otherside' Ahead of New Album

Canadian star Tyler Shaw drops his latest single The Otherside, an emotive slice of pop music that taps into the ups and downs of relationships. The track is set to feature on Tyler’s upcoming new studio album, alongside the musician’s previous single Run to You.

Tyler shares: “Just letting you know THE OTHERSIDE is track #6 on my new album, which takes a dive into the silence and frustration in a relationship, eventually shifting towards repair and renewed love.”

Lyrically, the song explores the idea that you can’t experience the highs without the lows, while ultimately emerging from difficult times stronger. “Can’t feel the highs without the lows / I’m living between the darkest light / So give me sadness, hold it close / And watch me throw it to the sky…”

The track comes accompanied by a tennis-themed video, which you can watch above.
