Rising star Benjamin Steer’s debut EP Figuring It Out arrives this week, the star capturing the excitement, uncertainty, and heartbreak of your twenties, with the star’s raw honest song-writing, mixed with a cinematic warmth.
Across five tracks, the Washington DC-born, Scotland-raised artist taps into a euphoric rush on Oh Darling to the reflective Sweat Off Our History, Benjamin delivers a debut that proves why he’s quickly becoming one of the most compelling new voices in the music world.
Benjamin shares: “I only started this whole music thing a couple years ago and I’ve been blown away by your support… so I wanted to put together something that was a bit more complete… an accumulation of everything that I have experienced and learned over the last couple years. It’s called “Figuring It Out”.”
He continues: “To my fairly straight to the point song writing I guess that’s exactly what I am doing and what everyone is doing. I think (I hope) no one really knows what they are doing in life and we are trying to just figure it out day by day :)”
