He’s top of our wishlist to represent Austria at Eurovision and rising electropop star Julian Guba has come very close. Whilst we wait for these dreams to come true, Julian is giving us plenty of banging electronic anthems with his latest being the scintillating Infinity (So Sweet).
“Infinity, so sweet / Drop the beat / Kiss my mouth and taste…” the star croons on the pounding chorus which samples the melody from his prior hit Carolyn. The track is a thrilling electronic dance hit with Julian delivering big vocals atop the fiery dance production.
The musician describes his style: “I carefully curate the melodies in all of my songs to make sure each one has its own special vibe while still carrying the signature “Julian Guba earworm factor” haha. I’d describe my music as radio-friendly, high-energy electronic pop – perfect for car rides, club nights, or just vibing in your room. Or maybe even at Eurovision one day lolol, one can dream!”
Julian is amassing an impressive discography with big streaming hits including Amy-Ivy, Carolyn, Another You and You Like Me Skinny. We have no doubt the Vienna native will find huge pop success perhaps through serving as the Austrian act for the seventieth Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna?
