We’ve got Scandipop, K-pop, J-pop and Britpop, but Scottish star archie is proudly flying the flag for Scotpop. The rising star, real name Archie Collingridge Watt, writes and produces his new track The Narcissist. The track marks archie’s fourth release of 2026, following singles The Middle, Deepcuts and ohmygod!.
The Narcissist sees archie blend country and pop flavours for a track that sounds distinctively Scottish, while staying true to a style that his fans will enjoy. The track delves into toxic and narcissistic relationships, exploring slightly heavier material than some of the Glasgow-based musician’s previous work.
The star will celebrate the track with a pop-up performance in Glasgow Green on Saturday 29 August at 2pm.
archie has built up an impressive discography, with his streaming smash Nicotine sitting at more than 25 million Spotify streams, while the star attracts close to 250,000 monthly listeners.
