Antonio Pican Releases Romania's Selecția Națională 2026 Entry 'Humans'

We’ve been waiting for the release of Antonio Pican’s Selecția Națională entry for a while, and now the track Humans has appeared on Spotify. The song is an empowering, up-tempo pop number written by Pican Ioan-Antonio, Dominteanu Costel-Pavel and Guna Cezar-Alexandru.

The track was one of two wildcard winners selected for Romania’s Selecția Națională, which will determine the country’s representative for the Eurovision Song Contest 2026. Antonio has already enjoyed success in the Romanian music industry with tracks including Demon, Ra Ta Ta and Viata Bate Filmul. He also took part in shows including The X Factor and Next Star. Humans marks an impressive shift into English-language pop for Antonio, who looks set to impress at Selecția Națională with this empowering entry. He brings charisma, stage presence and impressive vocals to the song, which is shaping up to be a standout.

Antonio shared with Wiwibloggs: “I have always dreamed of making it to the Eurovision stage, but now that it can actually happen, everything feels unreal. It’s an emotional experience that I am living through together with Eurovision, and it’s exactly what I have wanted ever since I was a child, to be an artist.”

He continues: “It feels like a dream coming to life, especially being able to take part with a song that holds such deep meaning for me. ‘Humans’ is a song people can relate to, because no matter where we come from or who we are, at our core we are all the same.”
