Greek-Cypriot pop legend Anna Vissi delivers the European pop banger ready to soundtrack our sun-soaked summers with Olo Pio Pano. The track is released via Panik Records, featuring music and lyrics from Nikos Karvelas and high-energy production from ARGY.
Translated lyrics see Anna sing in the chorus: “Higher and higher / Higher and higher / You take me to a place where I find my mind only when I lose it / Higher and higher / Higher and higher (higher and higher) / I’ve fallen to pieces / And I don’t even know what I’m saying or what I’m doing” atop euphoric electronic dance production.
Anna sounds effortlessly fantastic on the track, which follows previous singles including Sandre and Aigaio, both expected to feature on a new studio album from the Greek-Cypriot music icon. Whilst Anna has delivered countless hits across Europe, she may be known to some fans as Greece’s Eurovision Song Contest representative in 1980 and 2006, as well as Cyprus’s entrant in 1982.
