We recently shared Brittany born star ALVAN’s electro-rock anthem Loup, the first taste of his upcoming new album, but now the former Eurovision star delivers new single TRUEFRENCH. The track taps into embracing ALVAN’s identity, the ability and desire to create despite fear and insecurities.
ALVAN shares: “My new title TRUEFRENCH is now yours. I can’t wait to read your thoughts on the music and the video, and to start promoting it on social media. When I was a teenager, I wanted to be an American metal singer, singing in French terrified me. I wrote this song to encourage myself to sing in French, to dare. If I sing in French, what’s going to happen? Nothing, I’m not going to change the universe. I’m just a frenchie.” [Translated]
ALVAN has been hard at work on a new album, following his debut Magma, which featured slightly more electronic dance flavours on anthems such as Anything and DCAI. We are delighted to have more music from ALVAN, with the charismatic French talent bringing something fresh and exciting to the global pop scene.
