Alison Goldfrapp Announces New Album 'Flux', Releases Electronic Anthem 'Find Xanadu'

Alison Goldfrapp announces news of the follow-up to her triumphant debut solo album The Love Invention, with her second solo set Flux arriving on August 15th. Preceding the release of the ten track album, Alison releases new track Find Xanadu, a collaboration with Stefan Storm and Richard X.

On Find Xanadu, Alsion shares: “It’s the first glimpse of what’s to come and your invitation to escape and dream with me – can’t wait for you to hear.” The number explores the fizzy electronic pop sounds that Alison does so well, teasing the ethereal synth world that the star has successful crafted in her material in Goldfrapp and in The Love Invention.

Talking about releasing Flux as an independent artist, Alison shares: “If you’re lucky enough to have the option, owning your own masters feels like a no-brainer these days. While being a solo independent artist comes with its own set of challenges, it truly suits me and has given myself and the people I work with a sense of empowerment and invigoration for this album.”
