We recently featured an interview with rising music talent and tattoo artist Alessandro Capozzi about his track Spark. Now, the Italian star follows it up with his latest single, Wonderland.
Alessandro shared: “I worked so hard for this one! For all of you who’ve been asking for new music! And this is just the start! This is to celebrate SPARK, which got over 1.3 million streams. Let’s hit 10 million with this one?”
Written by Alessandro, Wonderland sees the singer co-produce alongside Emery Mesich, with mixing and mastering by Raul Lopez and Fili Filizzola. Lyrically, the song taps into a sense of youthful nostalgia, drawing inspiration from the fantastical world of Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. The Italian star sings: “I long for Wonderland / Where kings and queens of hearts / Go down the rabbit hole / To find a place that’s home…”
In the interview below, Alessandro opened up about the inspiration behind previous single Spark, his journey in both tattooing and songwriting, and his hopes for the future. Our discussion also explores Alessandro’s wider musical path, from his earliest memories of falling in love with music to his time performing in a pop-punk cover band. He also shares insights into how tattooing and music overlap for him, whether TikTok has influenced his songwriting, and what his creative process looks like today.
