Al Calderon Explores Heartbreak On Bilingual Single ‘brokiii’

Actor and musician Al Calderon releases his brand-new single in the bilingual pop treat brokiii. The star impresses on the emotive pop track, which blends Latin R&B touches as the musician glides through lyrics in both English and Spanish.

Al co-writes the track with Joseph Tilley, who also produces the single. Al paid tribute to his co-creator on Instagram, sharing: “I can’t do this music shit without you and I wouldn’t want to. Thank you for your time and your talent. I love you forever. We make a pretty good team.”

Al taps into feelings of heartbreak in the aftermath of a painful breakup, with lines such as “Well I hope you find it / Cause you gonna have to work that shit out all yourself” and “You broke me first / You broke me first / Didn’t give me a warning” capturing the feelings of hurt and being disregarded. Matching these lyrics with a vocal delivery that taps into the emotion, Al has created something pretty special here.

brokiii follows Al’s previous singles Smoke, Come and Get It and Lo100to, continuing to build an impeccable, high-quality musical discography. He matches the powerful musicality of brokiii with a cinematic music video, helmed by director Ian Schober.
