Most Dangerous Game pairs Aussie heartthrob Liam Hemsworth and cult favourite Christoph Waltz in trashy B-Movie territory for an upcoming Quibi series – and we couldn’t be more thrilled at that prospect. Check out the trailer below.
For those unaware (like us) Quibi is an online video streaming service that produces original content. This is targeted for the ‘mobile market’ and has ramped up its original content with high profile productions such as Varsity Blues, Spielberg’s After Dark and The Fugitive update all on the horizon.
Split into ten minute chapters, the film sees Hemsworth play Dodge Maynard, a terminally ill man who’s desperate to provide for his pregnant wife before he dies. Christoph Waltz’ mysterious villain looks set to make that happen, providing that Dodge take part in a life or death game.
Most Dangerous Game is written and executive produced by Nick Santora (Prison Break) and directed and executive produced by Phil Abraham. The series premieres in April, the Quibi platform officially launches April 6.
