RuPaul adds another string to his bow with a new Netflix original series, AJ and the Queen. The drag superstar teams up with Michael Patrick King (creator of the best television series of all time, The Comeback, yes we said it) for this ten episode series which hits Netflix on January 10th 2020.
The official synopsis of the show notes:
“RuPaul stars in this outrageous series as a down-on-her-luck drag queen traveling across America in a van with a tough-talking 11-year-old stowaway.”
The short teaser (below) for the show teases a brand new RuPaul track, with the performer slated to release a new set of tracks featured in the show. The teaser introduces the character of Ruby Red – the titular Queen of the series.
Update: The full trailer for the series can be viewed above. Tia Carrere as an eye patch wearing villain called Lady Danger? Why we’re obsessed already.
