It is hard to think of a more anticipated country album than Sam Hunt’s follow-up to his massive hit debut, Montevallo. The album asserted the handsome Georgia native as one of the most exciting country talents on the scene with hits like Take Your Time, House Party and Leave the Night On. Five years on from this debut, and two non-album singles – Body Like a Back Road and Downtown’s Dead, and Hunt is back with new track, Kinfolks.
Kinfolks was written by Hunt alongside regular collaborators Zach Crowell, Jerry Flowers and Josh Osborne. The track is slated to be the lead single of the singer’s second album – due for release Q1 of 2020.
We’ll have more detail on the Hunties upcoming album when he announces it.
