Trailer, Poster: Meryl Streep in ‘Ricki and The Flash’

Meryl Streep plays an ageing rocker in Ricki and The Flash also starring Kevin Kline, Grace Gummer and Sebastain Stan. We shouldn’t really need to say anymore to get you sold on this one.

Ricki and The Flash sees a covers music (Streep) who gave up her family in favour of finding stardom returns home to fix her past mistakes.

Jonathan Demme directs a screenplay penned by Diablo Cody so we have high hopes for this one. Ricki and The Flash doesn’t looks like it’s going to throw any bold surprises at us, but we’re here for it anyway. Plus the thought of Meryl providing a soundtrack packed with classic rock covers has us pretty excited and she’s also supposedly tackling Gaga’s Bad Romance – which we all need in our lives NOW.
