Trailer: Nicholas Hoult in Kill Your Friends

To someone unfamiliar with John Niven’s novel Kill Your Friends, the trailer for the upcoming cinematic adaptation suggests that it sits somewhere between Irvine Welsh and Bret Easton Ellis’s work. But we’re not here to talk about books – especially when we could be watching Nicholas Hoult play a murderous A&R man.

The feature serves as the first cinematic release for director Owen Harris and chronicles a music executive going to “extreme lengths” to progress in the industry. Rosanna Arquette and James Corden co-star.

Kill Your Friends looks like a darkly comic and brutal celebration of hedonism and excess. We’re excited. It hits UK cinemas on the 6th of November.
