Taylor Swift’s 1989 delivered some solid pop anthems, but ultimately felt like something we’d probably end up hitting skip on a few weeks after. Put it this way, it’s no E•MO•TION (hail Queen Carly Rae etc.). Nonetheless, our interest in 1989 has peaked with the arrival of the video for Taylor’s latest single, Wildest Dreams, thanks to the appointment of gorgeous co-star Scott Eastwood.
The video directed by Joseph Kahn is one of our favourite pop videos of recent years, thanks to its sweeping elegance and recreation of Golden Hollywood glamour. The African set video pays homage to Meryl Streep classic Out of Africa and explores a behind the scenes love affair between two actors on a Savannah based film-shoot.
Watch the video below and ogle the glamour in the stills beneath.
