Listen: Joe Jonas’s DNCE with ‘Cake By The Ocean’

Those that follow Joe Jonas on his various social media channels will be aware of his latest musical group, DNCE, who premiered their debut single Cake By The Ocean today.

It’s a little early Foster the People, The Sounds style early-noughties throwback indie-pop – and we’d class that as a good thing. Whilst we’re not sure how this will do commercially, it’s a funky little track that certainly has us excited about DNCE as a band.

The group is made up of Joe, guitarist JinJoo Lee, bassist/keyboardist Cole Whittle, and drummer Jack Lawless. It marks Joe’s first major musical output since his debut solo LP, Fastlife.
