Jeff Lynne has announced the first Electric Light Orchestra album in fourteen years, Alone in the Universe, will be hitting stores before Christmas.
The new set is planned for a November 13 release and marks Lynne’s first outing under the ELO banner since 2001′s Zoom. When I Was a Boy, the first single from the album was released on Friday and has that classic ELO’s sound with Lynne’s unmistakable vocals sitting comfortably among lush, low-key instrumentation.
