Who wants to see John Goodman keep his family in a basement as a slowed down version of Tiffany’s I Think We’re Alone Now? I certainly do. This one certainly came out of nowhere as J.J. Abram’s mystery Bad Robot flick has unveiled itself as long-gestating Cloverfield spin-off/sequel/prequel entitled 10 Cloverfield Lane.
There’s no official synopsis kicking around just yet, but it seems to focus on John Goodman’s patriarch keeping his family locked in some sort of cellar after the attacks in the first Cloverfield film. Mary Elizabeth Winstead and John Gallagher Jr. also star in this project which is directed by Dan Trachtenberg. We’re ready for this grim monster themed Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt update.
