Netflix have released the trailer for their upcoming French political drama Marseille starring Gérard Depardieu and it looks excellent. Likely to be dubbed a French House of Cards, Marseille follows the double-crossing of the French political elite. We’re excited to see Depardieu back in a high profile series – especially one that looks as thrilling as this.
Robert Taro (Depardieu) has been the mayor of Marseille for 25 years. Now he faces a merciless election against his young, ambitious former protégé.
Marseille hits Netfix on Thursday May 5th.
