Just yesterday we posted about Sam Hunt’s eagerly anticipated sophomore album, which now seems a little closer with the reveal of new Drinkin’ Too Much which is now available to stream on Soundcloud.
Whilst we mentioned Hunt was finding inspiration for the new record tough, it appears he’ll be focusing on how his life has changed since finding fame. Drinkin’ Too Much is a melow R&B-flavoured tracks, but Hunt’s vocals are unmistakably country. This is a real grower.
It’s not clear yet whether this is the lead single of a potential new album or simply a New Year treat from the singer to his fans. Either way, it’s good to have him back.
