Ukrainian Music Talents The Hardkiss Return With Powerful New Single ‘Crush’, Tease Album for 2026

The Hardkiss return with the first single, Crush, from their upcoming 2026 scheduled album. The powerful English language track continues to inhabit the rock flavoured territory of the band’s previous singles, with the signature emotive vocals from Julia Sanina atop dramatic production.

Roman Bondar and Valeriy Bebko produce the track, with enigmatic lyrics including: “Day 1 / Ashes kept rising higher / Day 2 / The whispers were calling for rain / Day 5 / That echo will rise, above the fire / So fall in love with this pain…” conjuring powerful imagery, delivered with an asserting emotion from Sanina.

The band share: “Crush is about a spark that grows into a fire. About anxiety that at first seems like a small thing, but over time becomes all-consuming. It’s a story about pain that we learn not only to accept – but maybe even love.”

Julia shared in a recent interview that the band struggled to find creative inspiration over the past three years, with few tracks released. The direction of the project was unclear with potential for being a solo project for Julia, however, after a recent tour the group feel energised and have been pouring this creativity into writing sessions for a new, potentially final album from The Hardkiss.

Expect plenty more singles from The Hardkiss before the arrival of their new album in 2026. This set to combine Ukrainian and English-language tracks.
