Ziferblat made a bold impression on stage in Basel at the Eurovision Song Contest with their track Bird of Pray which earned a very respectable ninth place in the final. The track, features alongside six others on Ziferblat’s English EP Of Us which is an undeniably impressive showcase for the Ukrainian musicians.
The band share: “Our first English-language work, which was created in the shortest possible time of music making. This forced us to make a minimum of adjustments, mostly presenting everything to you as it is. And it’s great that everything turned out exactly like this with this material.”
They continue: “I think you know what kind of help we need: distribution to a European audience, listening and your reactions. This is, without a doubt, our first important attempt to be heard outside of Ukraine.”
Highlights of the EP include the up-tempo synth-rocker City, the funk-flavoured Good Boy, Good Girl, and the emotive Victoria. It is also welcome to see Ziferblat’s 2024 Vidbir composition Place I Call Home feature on the EP. Each track showcases big vocals from Daniil Leshchynskyi and strong melodic arrangements from the band. See the full tracklist below:
