Jubël are true masters at crafting high energy dancepop that delivers on the feel good vibes. Producer and vocalist Sebastian Atas and producer and guitarist Victor Sjöström, make up the duo who have given us anthems such as Weekend Vibe and Off My Mind. They now return with one of their best tracks, the euphoric Walkman.
“We didn’t go into the studio with a big idea ,” explains Sebastian. “We just had the idea that it would be good to take a break when we’re having a bad day. Just put on your headphones, go outside and disconnect from the world for a while.” Victor adds “We’ve really been experimenting the last few years. We’re trying new things. We’re not sticking to formulas. We’re just following what feels right.”
Victor shares: “We’re past the stage where one song controls our entire mood. Now we just make music that we love. If people connect with it, great! If not, we’re still proud of what we created. ” Walkman is written by David Lindgren Zacharias, Sebastian Atas, Victor Sjöstrom and Viktor Broberg.
Balancing inventive new spins on classic tracks with their own original material has helped Jubël win countless fans. Their next single will see them take on Boy Meets Girl classic Waiting for a Star to Fall. They’ve previously put their own spin on the likes of Toploader’s Dancing in the Moonlight, Ne-Yo’s So Sick and Chris Rea’s On the Beach.
