Rising UK Boyband Absnt Mind Drop New Single ‘Wardrobe’

UK rising boyband Absnt Mind deliver what they describe as their “favourite song to date,” in new track Wardrobe. The five piece made up of Alex, Ashton, Conor, Freddie and Oscar was inspired by Ashton people watching on the Piccadilly Line. They then took the idea to producer Frank Colluci who brought the number to life with a style that fuses classic boyband pop with R&B elements.

Ashton shares: “Opening the new season of Absnt Mind, ‘Wardrobe’ is bringing the vibes we have all been needing! We made this tune with a spin on how it feels to know your ex is wearing your style but for someone else.

With Sabrina’s Bed Chem on loop, the inspo came on the way home from an Amie Blu gig with a dead phone and nothing to do but people-watch on the Piccadilly line. A girl got on with the flyest jumper, and it sparked this concept of your clothes living on with someone you aren’t with anymore – bittersweet that you made their swag but for someone new.”

The five-piece don’t only work together, but live together in a shared house in North London, complete with home studio. Expect plenty of new tunes to come from Absnt Mind.
