You would be forgiven for thinking that you are listening to a lost Talking Heads or David Byrne solo single when listening to drag icon Tammie Brown’s new single Ethereal.
On Ethereal Tammie collaborates with Jake Glass and Joshua Giant, with the number seeing her croon atop twinkling synths and a woozy eighties groove. The track also bares the name of Tammie’s new solo show which is being performed across the US.
Tammie continues to deliver impressive musical output amid her other creative projects, with tracks such as Sexy Orangutan, Time Machine and Gingerbread House among some of her most streamed. The star has released two albums Popcorn in 2009 and Schubert’ in 2019 – it is unclear if Ethereal is part of a larger musical project from Tammie – we certainly hope so.
