Tamta Delivers Incredible ‘KHORUMI’, Releases Electronic Pop EPs ‘The Villain’ and ‘The Heroine’

Tamta cemented our place in our hearts with her 2019 Cyprus Eurovision entry Replay and we are delighted to see that she is back with new single KHORUMI which follows her freshly dropped EPs titled The Villain and The Heroine. New single KHORUMI sees the star navigate dark electronic sounds which draw inspiration from her Georgian roots with lyrics in both Greek and Georgian.

Tamta shares: “KHORUMI is deeply personal yet universally resonant. Inspired by the dynamic rhythm of the traditional Georgian doli drum, the song embodies themes of resilience, freedom, and unity. It’s a musical narrative of searching, confronting, and celebrating victory.”

The fiery, powerful new single is lifted from Tamta’s The Villain EP, which sees her delve into brooding hyperpop and dark electronic sounds. This direction showcasing Tamta’s creative and personal artistry, whilst reflecting her rich cultural heritage. Tamta’s The Heroine EP is also worth streaming, exploring more up-tempo sounds including the stellar Chrome Hearts.

To accompany her recent new music, Tamta will be performing a headline show in London on Friday 2nd of May – tickets are available here.
