The brilliant Maja Ivarsson made a triumphant appearance at Melodifestivalen with her catchy pop-rock number Kamikaze Life, an energetic Kim Wilde inspired smash. Timed perfectly with her turn on the Melodifestivalen finale stage, Maja drops her Kamikaze Life EP with her single and an additional three tracks. Maja is known for her work with The Sounds and Crew of Me&You, but the EP marks her debut solo project.
The EP features tracks: Melo smash Kamikaze Life, and new rock anthems Biggest Fan, Opening Act and I Want More. The full EP sees her re-team with team behind the titular track, Andreas Lindbergh, Joy Deb and Linnea Deb. Maja shares her excitement for the Melo finale and beyond, noting: “I love challenges and you can never take an audience for granted, so it feels extra special to be able to hit the road again with new material”
On her new music Maja shares: “It feels so fantastic to be able to do this solo venture, something I’ve dreamed of for a long time and I feel more than ready! I’m incredibly grateful to be able to work with this awesome experienced team and feel like I’m developing and being inspired again after so many years in the industry.”
