Louise returns with an absolute pop smash in the form of Confession, the lead single of her follow-up LP to 2020 comeback album Heavy Love. The British pop hitmaker shares that she has been working on a number of dance-driven anthems on her new album Confessions which has seen her collaborate with pop hitmakers such as MNEK, Jon Shave and Wayne Hector.
Confession sees Louise collaborate with co-writers Anya Jones, Jon Shave and Wayne Hector – with Shave producing. The number is a slinky slice of contemporary pop, with Louise’s impressive vocals dancing atop sultry electronic pop production. Confession sees Louise’s distinctive sound evolve in new directions and has us truly excited for the musician’s upcoming new album.
Louise shared with fans: “Can’t thank you all enough for all the incredible messages and support since last nights post! I honestly cannot wait to take you to the dance floor with Confession.., and it’s all thanks to this gorgeous team of talented people Mr Jon Shave, Miss Anya Jones and Mr Wayne Hector! It was an honour to work with you all… I’m so excited for everyone to hear what we’ve been working on!”
Confessions, Louise’s new album will arrive on May 23 2025. On the LP, Louise notes: “This album just happened. It had that momentum, and I’ve worked with such great people. I’d have a pinch-me moment some days when I was in the studio, working with such great songwriters and producers, it’s been a dream team. The album is quite personal, and I didn’t hold back. It’s something I’m not known for as I can be quite guarded. But here, I’ve brought the sassy part of Louise. It’s a good time for women to be coming out with music.”
