Fusing modern with the mythical, KEiiNO continue to impress with their new single Halo. The electronic dance song sees the band pick-up after previous single Midnight Gloria, both of which are expected to feature on the trio’s new studio album Unstoppable Night which arrives this spring.
The band share: “Halo is like a fever dream: it’s Sunday morning, the world is ending, and you’re partying at your favourite club.. Amidst the chaos, you fall in love with a mysterious, alluring figure—a hot person you start to believe might actually be Saint Sebastian.”
The stars continue: “The song and its production embody a clash between the mythical and the modern, the classical and the electronic, the superstitious and the technological. It’s the image of a mythical saint in a contemporary club setting, where classic strings collide with hard synths and pounding beats of the production. At its core, it reflects our modern technological world grappling to make sense of the inexplicable and the divine.”
Halo is composed and written by the band together with Jakob Redtzer and Alexander Olsson, It is produced by Jakob & Tom Hugo and mixed by Sören von Malmborg.
KEiiNO will take to the road in April hitting up up Glasgow, Manchester and London. Unstoppable Night will be arriving this spring.
